Craps Tips

This section provides basic information on gambling tips and strategies. We believe these information would be useful for a player. However, we do not guarantee that you will benefit from these information.

We believe gambling is just an entertainment not a way to make money for living. Some people win and some people lose although they may or may not use any strategy on gambling. Luck has played an important role on winnings. Do not gamble if you cannot afford to lose and do not spend all your money on gambling. Seek for help if you have gambling problem.

Don't Pass/Don't Come With OddsAlways place the minimum bet on Don't Pass or Don't Come, while betting the maximum on the odds behind it.

On the Don't Pass and Don't Come bets, the house has an advantage of just over 1.4 percent, while odds bets give the house no advantage.- Pass/Come With OddsThis bet works on the same principle as Don't Pass/Don't Come with odds. - Place Six or Eight to WinThis is the most (and arguably the only) advisable place-to-win bet on the Craps table.

Bet in multiples of six - a win pays you $7 on a $6 bet - and do battle with a relatively low house advantage of about 1.5 percent.- Place Six or Eight to LoseYour $5 bet pays $4 if the 7 shows, and the house edge is a still-reasonable 1.8 percent.- Lay Four or Ten Bet that a 7 will be rolled before a 4 (or 10). The house has an edge of about 2.4 percent on these bets.- Place Five or Nine to LoseYou win $5 for every $8 you bet, with a house advantage of about 2.5 percent.- Bet The Field (If it pays 3:1 on 2 or 12)While this is usually a dangerous bet, it's a worthwhile strategy when either the 2 or the 12 is paying out at 3 to 1 instead of the typical 2 to 1, as the house advantage drops to below 2.8 percent. There are numerous additional betting strategies, but most are complex and don't give you a great chance to win.
